Our speaker this Friday will be Lexi Ray with the Johnson County 4-H.
"4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H helps young people acquire the skills and knowledge to become self-directing, productive, contributing members of our community through projects, events, and activities. Rocketry, woodworking, foods, gardening, and clothing are just a few examples of the diverse offerings that help teach youth.
In 4‑H, we believe in the power of young people. We see that every child has valuable strengths and real influence to improve the world around us. We are America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. and over 74,000 youth in Kansas with the skills to lead for a lifetime."
