The Rotary Club of Lenexa sponsors the Shawnee Mission Northwest High School Interact Club. They are an energetic group that helps Lenexa Rotary from time to time and also have their own projects and fundraisers. In June 2023 and June 2024 members of the Interact Club traveled to Puerto Rico with Woodland Charity. While there they distributed water filters to residents, picked up debris at Playa Guayanes, painted the community center in Calabazas and worked in a community garden.
